type='text'>The Donor died on the Table</title><summary type='text'>Okay, I’ve been gradually  upgrading my road bike over the years. Every season I add a new  component – maybe some handlebars, new gearing, pedals. Well this winter  I finally got around to buying  a new frame. So the bike I bought six  years ago is officially gone. There are no original pieces to that first  road bike I bought. So – I may have taken a half dozen years – but I  have a new bike.

Our friend and hostess Trish the librarian has an amazing tin toy fish on her coffee table and I asked her where she got it. “I knew you were going to ask me that,” she said.  So she drug these two poets down to a really hep little part of Beijing – the Hou Hai district. Okay - all primed now and ready for some base coat color. Each was a little different than the other but all were full of hard working kids and dedicated teachers. The thing that I’ll remember most was the classroom teachers jumping in during the workshops to make sure the kids were getting the most out of our visit there.

First off we start in Tasmania then we head  north along the 140 degree longitude up to Kota Kinabalu, Borneo and  then we end up in Hanoi, Vietnam.

It is the capital of Morocco and Sara I am in the middle of a week's worth of classroom visits at the Rabat American School. Of course we are being treated way better than we deserve and thus have had no time for blogging during the week. Last school visit before we shake off the coil of this winter chill and escape like migrating Canadian Geese to the warmer climes' of Morocco. I’m pretty sure Canadian geese don’t fly across the Atlantic but you get my drift.

Met with the Middle School Scholars of St. Francis Xavier in beautiful Medina  (pronounced Ma- dine - a) Ohio yesterday. Sara has two new books sitting at the pubisher – I have one under consideration @ the same publisher and we finished the first draft of our new teacher book and that too is in the hands of the publisher and some initial readers.

Had a fun and fruitful visit with the 5th graders @ Apex Academy here in Cleveland. We got a jump start on their winter break take home packets by writing some definition poems for a list of words contained within said packets.
